This stamp is great for creating fun, and at times, whimsical lists for your day to day activities.

But the fun doesn’t have to stop there. You can design your own Make A List Stamp.

Official Seals of the United States

Saturday, February 21st, 2009

State stamp seals are a great tradition in our country. These state seals represent images and ideas that are essential to the formation of each state. Each state seal contains symbolism intrinsic to that state. Explore all the U.S state seals here.

The Oregon State Seal consists of an outer ring with the text “State of Oregon”, “1859″. The inner circle contains an American eagle atop a shield. The shield contains mountains, an elk, a wagon, the Pacific Ocean, on which there are a British man-of-war departing and an American steamer arriving. The second quartering with a sheaf, a plow, and a pickax. The banner is inscribed “The Union”. Thirty-three stars surrounding the shield represent the number of states upon Oregon’s entry into the union in 1859.

Now-a-days, a Notary Public utilizes state seals when they notarize a document with a notary embosser. A Notary Public is a public official who notarizes legal documents and who can also administer and take oaths, and affirmations among other tasks. Each state has different notary rules of conduct, and anyone interested in becoming a Notary Public should learn the requirements for their state.

Stamp-Connection carries an entire line of quality Notary stamps, Notary embossers, and Notary accessories, including Notary Journals that are required to record all notary activities.
