The State of Montana allows each Notary Public the use of either a rubber stamp or an embosser that is photographically reproducible as their official notary seal. A commissioned Notary's official seal must bear the their name exactly as it appears on their certificate of commission, the words "Notarial Seal" or "Notary Public," and "State of Montana."

Please fax a COPY of your Notary “Commission Certificate” or “Letter of Appointment” to our office at 503-667-1552.  According to Montana state law, we must have a copy of the certificate in order to issue your Montana notary seal.
