The State of Montana allows each Notary Public the use of either a rubber stamp or an embosser that is photographically reproducible as their official notary seal.

A commissioned Notary's official seal must bear the their name exactly as it appears on their certificate of commission, the words "Notarial Seal" or "Notary Public," and "State of Montana."
