The State of North Carolina allows each Notary Public the use of either a rubber stamp or an embosser that is photographically reproducible as their official notary seal.
The notary seal must include the name of the Notary exactly as it appears on their commission, the words "Notary Public", the name of the county in which the Notary is commissioned including the word "County" or "Co.", and "North Carolina" or "NC".
The perimeter of the seal must contain a border that is visible when impressed, must not include any other graphics, and can optionally include the commission expiration date.
