The State of Virginia allows each Notary Public the use of either a rubber stamp or an engraved embosser seal as their official notary seal.
The notary seal must contain the Notary's exact name as it appears on their commission certificate, the registration number, commission expiration date and the phrases "Notary Public" and "Commonwealth of Virginia".
