Wisconsin Notary Seals

State of Wisconsin Official Notary Seal Requirements

All of Stamp-Connection's Notary Public Stamps & Seals meet the requirements in the Wisconsin state code. They are as follows:

Wisconsin Statutes - Notaries Public - 140.17  Official stamp.
The official stamp of a notary public must satisfy all of the following criteria:
(1) Include the notary public's name, jurisdiction, commission expiration date if applicable, and other information required by the department.
(2) Be capable of being copied together with the record to which it is affixed or attached or with which it is logically associated.
Wisconsin Notary Public Info - AM I REQUIRED TO KEEP A NOTARIAL LOG BOOK?
Keeping a notarial log book, or journal, is not required in Wisconsin, although you are encouraged to do so. Depending on the amount and types of documents you are handling, recording your notarial acts in a journal may prove useful later if you need to recall specifics of a particular case. If you decide to keep a notarial log book, include items such as date and type of notarial act, names and signatures of persons involved, and numbers from identification cards and driver’s licenses presented.
